Dear Members

I hope you have been enjoying this lovely weather we

have had recently. We are now going into our Summer Programme which I hope you will all support.

Most of you will know by now that I will be stepping down as

Chairperson and Programme Co-ordinator. Alison Mesher has

also expressed a wish not to stand as Treasurer after August so we

shall hold a special meeting on 9 July to decide on the future of the club.

I hope that a new committee can be formed but in the event that

these positions are not filled, it may be decided that the club will fold.

Please can everyone attend the meeting as Fulcrum is your club and

we need to discuss its future.

The programme has various events for the coming 3 months but if you have any further ideas, please let

Richard or me know and we will be happy to e-mail everyone. A very big thank you to those who are hosting events and I hope you will support the hosts and Fulcrum by attending.

Brownsea Island Open Air Theatre Company and their production of Julius Caesar. Some members have already got their tickets but tickets are available from their own website. Let us know if you have been able to get tickets and we can all meet prior to the play to have a picnic.

Buckham Fair is a horse and dog show with various stalls. Martin Clunes and his wife are the hosts of this popular charity event. This year it is for Dorset Air Ambulance. Please contact Richard and Stephanie if you would like to go and if you have dogs you can enter them into the competition! I am sure they have the waggiest tail or the cutest eyes, it’ s all for fun. Starts at 10.00 am, meet up by way of mobile when you get there but let us know if you are going.
