HALLOWE'EN AT ABBOTTSBURY FLOODLIT GARDENS

Stephanie organised our fourth meeting to take in the beautiful floodlit gardens at Abbottsbury. Here, the garden owners had lit the tropical gardens with coloured floodlights and a very impressive music-and-laser display, as well as theming the whole thing with ghosts and witches and ghouls, with the odd 'statue' that reached out to you as you walked past. The whole meeting ended at the cafe where the burger bar had just closed (much to the chagrin of my gurgling stomach) so we enjoyed pasties and sandwiches and cake washed down with hot chocolate and pop.
