Spetisbury Rings Walk

26th August, 2007

Four of us met in the car park of the Drax Arms at Spetisbury intent on following a circular route. What we didn't realise was that the bridge over the Stour was down, so we had to reroute and visited Spetisbury Rings and the old Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway route.

The path leads over a raised footway above beautiful gardens.

Barry checks our route along the old railway line path.

Off we go, along a path lined with edible berries.

We take a breather on the parapets of Spetisbury Rings.
