Cattistock Walk
15 th September 2007
Graham arranged a lovely short 3-mile walk for us in and around the village of Cattistock in the blazing late-summer sunshine.
We had three dogs with us and we meandered slowly through the countryside, ending at the local pub for a tasty pub lunch and chinwag.
Well done, Graham. Excellent day out.
Thank you.

The dog side of the walk: Jack, Baz, and Melody.

Sue takes a lovely group shot, leaving Dave Whizz out of shot - ha! Poor old Dave!

The photographer photographed!

And we're off! Loved the wellies, Jane!

Come on, you. Catch up!

Hmmm . . . which way?

I got left behind for rubber-necking the local gardens (but they were beautiful).

Stephanie and Jack pose opposite the church.

What a lovely place to live . . .

Through a gate and into countryside proper.

A brambley start.

Graham is quite pleased it is all going so well - rightly so, Graham!

To the shady woods again.

A crossing point allows for thirsts to be quenched.

The only muddy bit on the whole route - we think it must be a spring in the next field.

Local cows show just how strong the sun is . . .

A breather . . .

Penny and Stephanie during a pensive moment.

Deciding which way to go.

The ubiquitous Dorset farmyard.

Young love . . . aaaaahh!

Time for a nice cool dip!

Come on, Baz! Where are you?

Nope. Too cold for her . . .

Steph and Jack are glad it is all over bar the food!

Penny shows us her favourite hidey-hole!

Baz is tired out - well, she's only got short legs!

Penny is the first to get her food, and everyone else, as well as Baz the Basset, is envious!

Not sure what Baz is doing, but Mark is giving her a big cuddle.

A final little chinwag and it is goodbye for another month.
