Buckland Newton Walk

29th April 2007

The hot weather brought out a good crowd to stroll gently around Buckland Newton and end with Sunday lunch at The Gaggle of Geese Inn. The walk was halfway uphill and very hot, but returning was downhill so we were reasonably cooled off by the time we got to the pub. Sadly, all the roast had gone but we managed a good feed from the regular menu.

I was too far away to hear, but it was a very suggestive hand movement!

Barry and his famous stick and his new specs.

Jack-the-Dog was tired before he started!

"Keep up, Richard!"

"Is this the top?" "No, it's a hole!"

Why was there a hole? Nobody knew but Barry was looking into it.

Up the dry stream bed . . .

"Nope. This is the wrong gate, Dave."

"I don't care if it is the wrong gate, I'm taking a breather!"

Downhill at long last!

There's a drought on, so where is this mud coming from?

Inside the ladies' loo! Why?
