Blandford Fayre

Penny writes that her "Blandford piccies show - peaceful River Stour, one minute walk from Funfair, stalls, farm animals, maypole dancing, townsfolk getting into the spirit of things by dressing up, Wessex morris, gurkha dancers, military band and more." It was a lovely day out, and fascinating on many levels. Highly recommended.

Maypole Dance went very well.

"You see a cow every day!"

Morris Men strutting their stuff.

The lads got their knives out . . .

. . . danced about waving them a bit . . .

. . . bobbed about in Mufti . . .

. . . then the ladies joined in . . .

. . . and showed their chaps how it's done!

And the Brits boogied on down . . .
