Winter is
approaching but at least we have enjoyed an Indian
Summer. May I take this opportunity of wishing
everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thank
you to everyone who hosted an event on the last programme and, of course, a big
thank you to all those that came along and supported the group.
Following the AGM
on Friday 16 October, it was decided to change the way we produce the programme
by submitting forthcoming events to the Programme Co-ordinator via telephone or
e-mail by a certain date rather than hold a specific meeting
Please could I
have your ideas for the Spring programme by 22 January 2010 by e-mailing me on the
above address. Without members suggesting and hosting the
events, the group would not be a success so please put the 22 January 2010 in your diaries now.
The group’s website
continues to be popular with our members who are able to access it. It has photographs of the previous events and
has all the information of the current programme. For confidentiality reasons the telephone
numbers have been removed from the programme but if you are interested in an
event and have lost your programme, please contact me for more information. The address is www.fulcrumsocialgroup.co.uk . There is also a
Stop Press box on the first page where Richard posts any late meeting
announcements, and an associated email group you can join for late postings to
be sent direct to you.
